Realme went into the fitness group market last month with its first fitness tracker-the Realme Band. The brand in the footsteps of other Chinese smartphone brands puts the tracker on the affordable price list. But before Realme’s new product could take its wings, Xiaomi (dominating the affordable fitness tracker segment) introduced an oppugner to cut its way. Technically, the role is played by the Redmi sub-brand that has just launched its very first fitness tracker-the Redmi Band for a price of only 99 yuan.
The sub-brand is already in the smartphone sector (most of them are inexpensive devices with decent features) and with the debut of the new wearable, it has just expanded its catalog of affordable products.
The new Redmi Band looks good (at least on paper) with an AMOLED panel, basic training modes, a decent backup battery and the inexpensive price is just a icing on the cake. The fitness group has a larger screen than Xiaomi’s Mi Band 4.
The Redmi Band has a large 1.08-inch color display, while the Mi Band 4 has a 0.95-inch AMOLED color display (240 x 120 resolution). Like other Redmi products, the new fitness group was launched into the grass at home. But given that Xiaomi’s sub-brand has brought its fitness tracker at such a inexpensive price, Xiaomi Redmi is clearly planning a slugfest with rival Realme.
Redmi is expected to bring its new Redmi group to India in the coming weeks. If you intended to buy the Realme band at its affordable price, but you no longer know if you should choose the Realme band or the new Redmi band, here is a comparison based on the specifications between the Redmi band and the Realme band that can help you choose the one that suits your needs.

Redmi Band vs Realme Band: design, features
The Redmi band has a larger screen (with better color and visibility) compared to the Realme fitness band. The fitness band has a rectangular design similar to Honor Band 5i and even the Realme band. At the front, the design is refreshing with the colorful straps. But the thickness of the body that gives the impression of carrying a small box rather spoils the minimalist design. Compared to the Redmi band, the Realme band has a more utilitarian design and it has colorful straps as well.
